Australia : Battle over Easter 'Islam and Christianity can't both be right' SMH, April 14, 2006
"A Sydney church leader has used a Good Friday address to tell his congregation that Christianity and Islam cannot both lead to God. Anglican Dean of Sydney Phillip Jensen told a service at St Andrew's Cathedral that Islam denies some of the Christian beliefs about Jesus. Islam views Jesus as a prophet but does not believe he was the son of God who died on Good Friday to save humanity from its sins and was resurrected on Easter Sunday. "Now that Islam has become more common in our society, you need to know the difference between Christianity and Islam," he said. "For the Koran, and therefore Islam, denies that Christ dies."…”

Muslims and Christians battle over crucifixion Daily Telegraph, Luke McIlveen, 18 April 2006
”AN Easter row has erupted between Sydney's Christian and Muslim leaders over whether Jesus died or survived the crucifixion. Responding to claims on Good Friday by the Anglican Dean of Sydney Philip Jensen that Christianity and Islam could not both be right, controversial  Islamic  spokesman Keysar Trad yesterday ignited the debate. "We don't believe he was crucified  because God [Allah, who was a witness to the event told us he was not crucified, Mr Trad said yesterday.  "The Koran says they did not kill Jesus, it was made to appear that way "That does not fit with the Christian view of Easter but this is the version of events we believe at this time of year. Muslims view Jesus as a minor prophet. Mr Trad was responding to remarks by Dr Jensen on Good Friday to which he suggested that either Christianity or Islam had to be wrong.
Dr  Jensen  told  a packed Good Friday service at St Andrew's Cathedral: "Now that Islam has become more common in our society you need to know the difference between Christianity and Islam. For the Koran, and therefore Islam, denies that Christ dies. Either  both  are wrong or one is right and the other is wrong….”
