|
| Georgia Cook Elliott
was my maternal grandmother's sister. I recently found two copies of a book she had
written. It is undated, but from the publisher's address I know it was before the days of
"ZIP codes." In my mother's handwriting in one of the books is the notation,
"Georgia Elliott was my mother's oldest sister. Her husband was a preacher in Mexico
and California."

|
| "Aunt Georgie" has been gone from us a long time, now. She is with the Heavenly Father she loved so much. The stories in her book have touched my heart, and I felt they might touch others, too. I hope you and your children will be blessed by them. | |

PREFACE |
|
| I tell you these stories as they were told to me: I have used different names, that is all that has been changed. I hope they will be a benefit to all who read them. They were bright spots in the lives of those who told them to me. May they encourage other children to believe in the Lord Jesus is my prayer. | |
