Romans 3:22-30 (23)
22Even
the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and
upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23For all
have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24Being
justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25Whom
God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to
declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the
forbearance of God; 26To declare, I say, at this time his
righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth
in Jesus. 27Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what
law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. 28Therefore we conclude
that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. 29Is
he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of
the Gentiles also: 30Seeing it is one God, which shall
justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. 31Do
we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Romans
6:22-23
(23)
22But now being made free from sin, and
become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end
everlasting life. 23For the wages of sin is death; but the
gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
John 1:5-14 (120
5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness
comprehended it not. 6There was a man sent from God, whose name was
John. 7The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light,
that all men through him might believe. 8He was not that
Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9That
was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10He
was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11He
came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12But as many as
received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to
them that believe on his name: 13Which were born, not of blood,
nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14And
the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the
glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Revelation 3:17-22 (20)
17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have
need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and
poor, and blind, and naked: 18I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou
mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that
the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve,
that thou mayest see. 19As many as I
love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore,
and repent. 20Behold, I stand at
the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come
in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my
throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22He that hath an ear, let him hear what the
Spirit saith unto the churches.

Acts 16:25 - 34
25And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God:
and the prisoners heard them. 26And suddenly there was a great
earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately
all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. 27And
the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors
open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the
prisoners had been fled. 28But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying,
Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. 29Then he called for a
light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, 30And
brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31And
they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy
house. 32And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to
all that were in his house. 33And he took them the same hour of the
night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his,
straightway. 34And when he had brought them into his house, he set
meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.
John 3:14-21
(15,16)
14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,
even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal
life. 16For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but
that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not
is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only
begotten Son of God. 19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and
men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20For every one that doeth evil
hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be
reproved. 21But he that doeth truth cometh
to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
John 3:35,36
35The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his
hand. 36He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and
he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth
on him.
John 4:37-40,
37All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh
to me I will in no wise cast out. 38For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will
of him that sent me. 39And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which
he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the
last day. 40And this is the will of him
that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may
have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 4:42-48 (47)
42And they said, Is not this
Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that
he saith, I came
down from heaven?
43Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves. 44No man can come to me, except
the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last
day. 45It is written in the prophets,
And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and
hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. 46Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he
which is of God, he hath seen the Father. 47Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath
everlasting life.
48I am
that bread of life.
1 John 5:1-13 (10)
1Whosoever believeth that
Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat
loveth him also that is begotten of him. 2By this we know that we
love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3For
this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments
are not grievous. 4For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the
world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our
faith. 5Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that
believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
6This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus
Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that
beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7For there are three
that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these
three are one. 8And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit,
and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. 9If we
receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is
the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
10He that believeth on the
Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a
liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11And
this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in
his Son. 12He that hath the Son hath life; and he that
hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13These things have I written
unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye
have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Acts 4:10-13
10Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that
by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised
from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11This
is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head
of the corner. 12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there
is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. 13Now
when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were
unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them,
that they had been with Jesus.
1 John 4:7-16
7Beloved, let us love one another: for love is
of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8He
that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9In this was
manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten
Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10Herein is
love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be
the propitiation for our sins. 11Beloved, if God so loved us, we
ought also to love one another. 12No man hath seen God at any time.
If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. 13Hereby
know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his
Spirit.
14And we have seen and do
testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 15Whosoever
shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
16And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.
God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
1 Timothty 1:15
14And the grace of our Lord
was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. 15This
is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus
came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
Titus 3:1-10
(4,5)
1Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to
obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, 2To speak evil of
no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, showing all meekness unto all
men. 3For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient,
deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy,
hateful, and hating one another. 4But after that the
kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5Not by
works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved
us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6Which
he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7That
being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of
eternal life. 8This is a faithful saying, and these things
I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might
be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto
men.
9But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions,
and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. 10A
man that is an heretic after the first and second admonition reject; 11Knowing
that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
Revelations
22:12-20
12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is
with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13I am Alpha and Omega, the
beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14Blessed are they that do
his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter
in through the gates into the city. 15For without are dogs,
and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever
loveth and maketh a lie. 16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the
churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and
morning star. 17And
the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And
let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And
whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 18For I
testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If
any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that
are written in this book: 19And if any man shall take away from the
words of the book of this
prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the
holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
20He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord
Jesus. 21The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
Amen
